Reformat Sans

Webfont experiment

Concept, drawing, edited to webfont with Glyphs Mini

Spring 2012

A fun two-week type project, creating an awkward headline font suitable for a possible next edition of Reformat magazine. The font is based on a basic principle of a square and a circle, representing the crossing between the analog and the digital.

The short timeframe for the project sat the boundaries, and I used it to explore letterforms, conceptual type and the technical aspects of making a webfont – while drawing 250 glyphs. The font is best suited for headlines, if it's suited for anything.
